On February 4th, the Azerbaijani MoD press service reported that, on the Armenian-Azerbaijani national frontier, allegedly, on February 3rd, as a result of operations led by an Armenian subversive commando group, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces suffered one casualty.

The RA Ministry of Defence announces that, the Azerbaijani MoD service’s release is completely untrue. According to obtained operative information, the AZ AF lost a soldier in consequence of internal non-statutory relations

Azerbaijan is once again trying to distort reality through the dissemination of misinformation and groundless accusations against Armenia. In the framework of the NKR conflict, and, as a result of the armed confrontation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani national border, we stress the importance of the implementation of possible monitoring mechanisms, aimed at reducing and preventing incidents.
