Within the scope of Armenian-Lebanese military cooperation, from November 25 to 28, the delegation headed by Levon Ayvazyan, Chief of RA MoD Defence Policy Department, was located in the Republic of Lebanon. During their visit, L.Ayvazyan was hosted by the Chief of General Staff of the Lebanese Armed Forces, General Walid Salman, Deputy Chief of Staff of the AF, Brigadier General Manuel Karejian, and other high-ranking officials.

Throughout the meetings discussions were held on the development of cooperation between the Armed Forces of the Republics of Armenia and Lebanon; the situation in the region; other matters of mutual interest. As a result, the 2016 military cooperation plan between the Armed Forces of the Republics of Armenia and Lebanon has been signed.

During their trip, the RA MoD delegation also visited the subdivisions of the Lebanese Air Forces, Special Forces, and more.
