According to the holiday schedule of the Armed Forces, November 5th is Reconnaissance Troop Day.

The reconnaissance sub-units of the Armed Forces have undergone a very difficult formation and development process. During the years of the Artsakh War, they have honorably carried out their assigned tasks, and our victory was achieved in part as a result of their deeds and heroism. Having gone through the maelstrom of war, the special sub-units have hardened and are capable of executing numerous combat assignments. Many servicemen who have walked this path are still in the ranks, and continue to contribute to the sacred duty of protecting their homeland.

Today, the reconnaissance sub-units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia are taking firm steps to enhance their efficiency. The sub-units established during the war enhanced their tactical and theoretical knowledge and practical skills simultaneously with the general army building process, and enriched their educational and material base. As a result of its achievements and accomplishments, the reconnaissance sub-units of the Armed Forces are a well established structure, and play an important role among the other sub-units. They continue to skillfully  carry out their crucial tasks, and enhance their combat capabilities and skills on a daily basis.

There are no limits to the proficiency that reconnaissance troops can achieve, thus meaning there are no insurmountable odds or unattainable heights.
