An exercise has taken place with implementation of live fire

The finale of the “Combat Commonwealth – 2015” exercises took place on September 10th in the “Ashuluk” training ground of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, held in accordance with the 2015 Action Plan for Join Events within the Air Defense framework of the CIS participant countries.

Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan, Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus General-Lieutenant Andrei Ravkov, and other high-ranking representatives of the armed forces of CIS member states observed the combat readiness stage of the exercises.

The antiaircraft defense and aviation battalions have coordinated together to complete the assigned tasks. The soldiers serving in the antiaircraft defense forces of the Republic of Armenia have hit assigned targets using S 300 SAM, achieving excellent results.

The battalions of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia returned to Armenia on September 10th.
