The Visit of the Delegation of the Ministry of Defence of Poland to Armenia

From February 22 to 24 the delegations headed by the Chief of the Department of Reforms of the National Ministry of Defence of Poland and the Commander of the National Defence Academy made a work visit to Yerevan.

During the visit the delegations met the representatives of the MoD departments of Defence Policy, Personnel and Military Education, and the GS Department of Strategic Planning, as well as visited the ARM MoD Military Institute after Vazgen Sargsyan. During the meeting they discussed matters on reforms in the defence sector and on the exchange of experience related to the Strategic Defence Review. They also touched upon issues on bilateral cooperation in the military-educational fields. On February 24 the delegations were also received by ARM First Deputy Minister of Defence Davit Tonoyan. Expressing his satisfaction with the present level of the Armenian-Polish cooperation in the defence sector, Mr. Tonoyan underlined the new project implementation and cooperation development prospects in spheres of mutual interest. During the meeting they signed the 2011 Bilateral Cooperation Plan between the ARM Ministry of Defence and the National Ministry of Defence of Poland.
