The students welcomed the guests in the courtyard of the educational complex with a military dance show, after which Seyran Ohanyan toured the school accompanied by Father Mesrop Aramyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AYB, and Executive Director Aram Pakchanyan. The Minister of Defense was presented with the handiwork of students, including robots. The directorate of the educational foundation also introduced the Minister with their future plans, namely the constructions of a church, kindergarten and sports center within the school. Afterwards, the guests along with students and the teaching staff headed towards the auditorium where Father Mesrop welcomed the attendants while touching upon the significance and role of the National Army. Defense Minister Ohanyan’s speech ensued the school choir’s performances. Seyran Ohanyan spoke about the cooperation with various structures and NGOs, emphasized on the activities in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science, which aims to strengthen army-society relations. The Defense Minister awarded the directorate, students and teachers with administrative medals, certificates and valuable gifts, on the occasion of Republic Day as well as for contributing to the young generation’s patriotic education. At the end of the event, the Minister answered all questions asked by students.
