ARM Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan travels to Artsakh

Within the frame of cooperation between the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, ARM Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan travelled to Artsakh.

The ARM Minister of Defence was at the Northeastern area of the Artsakh-Azerbaijani border, where he investigated the details of the commando raid which occurred on March 19 and spoke with conscript soldiers and the command staff involved in the operation sought to repel the enemy. During his working trip, the Defence Minister discussed the operative situation on Artsakh-Azerbaijani border with the senior staff of the NKR Defence Army, as well as preventive measures for the enemy’s provocative actions and adequate retaliation related issues. Seyran Ohanyan also visited the central military hospital of Stepanakert, met with conscripts who were wounded during the Azerbaijani commando raid operation on, as well as their parents, and took interest in their health conditions whilst wishing them a quick recovery.
