During recent years, significant steps have been undertaken to improve the Armenian military-industrial complex and to supply the armed forces with designs of local production of armaments and equipment. The activities carried out by the enterprises of the military-industrial complex are constantly supervised by the ARM Ministry of Defence. Accompanied by executives and professionals, Seyran Ohanyan acquainted himself with the designs of the military equipment produced within the enterprises, as well as the local production of armaments and innovative products. The Defence Minister was presented with development projects and reforms within the sphere of military industry. Seyran Ohanyan emphasized on the importance of development projects within military-industrial enterprises, resulting in the overall capacity improvement of the armed forces, and gave out specific orders and instructions.
