Today marks the 150th birth anniversary of Andranik Ozanyan

On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Andranik Ozanyan, on February 25, ARM Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan, Chairman of YVU Department Manvel Grigoryan, Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, high-ranking officers, civil servants and other officials visited the Yerablur Pantheon to pay tribute to the great commander.

The attendants laid flowers and wraths on the graves of Andranik Ozanyan and Vazgen Sargsyan, as well as on the “Berdapar” monuments commemorating the memory of missing soldiers. The clergymen of the Armenian Apostolic Church performed a requiem service, collectively praying for the souls of Andranik Ozanyan and all the victims of the Armenian national liberation movement.
