The Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan presided the consultation meeting which was attended by the Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov, and deputies of the AF GS, heads of different departments, as well as other high-ranking military officers and civil servants. During the meeting, discussions were held on the issues of preparedness and professional skills of the command staff during the military recruitment process, as well as matters related to the improvement of the social and living conditions of servicemen and the general organization of the key provisions for the military service. The question of legislative and legal reforms within the defense sphere was also raised during the consultation.
