The special-purpose units perfectly carry out their tasks

Within the framework of events dedicated to the Scout’s Day, a festive event was held on November 22 in one of the RA MoD special-purpose military units, dedicated to Scout’s Day and the anniversary of the formation of the RA AF intelligence units.

The event was attended by RA Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan, the Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov and other high-ranking military officers. In the parade square of the military unit, the military staff of the special-purpose unit greeted the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan. The Defence Minister congratulated all spies on the occasion of the vocational holiday, stressed the importance of the role of special-purpose units during the Artsakh war years and stated that, presently the special-purpose units perfectly execute their tasks by improving their skills and combat readiness on a daily basis. The festive event continued with a demonstrative performance by the special-purpose units. At the end of the event, Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan awarded several officers and servicemen of the RA MoD special-purpose units with administrative medals and certificates of appreciation for their conscientious service and high professional skills. Intelligence troops have undergone a difficult path of formation and today they are determined to enhance their efficiency. The military staffs of intelligence subdivisions formed during the war years have upgraded their professional theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and have also enriched the educational and logistical database. According to the registered achievements and accomplishments, today’s intelligence agencies of the Armed Forces are establish structures which occupy a very important position among other military branches. By facing the obstacles of war, the special-purpose units have become stronger, more skilful and carried out numerous combat manoeuvres. A lot of servicemen who have crossed this path contribute today to the defence activities of their sacred homeland.
