The RA Minister of Defence congratulated Captain 1st Rank Alessandro Maria Dioniji on his accreditation in Armenia and wished him success. Mr. Seyran Ohanyan noted that the Italian-Armenian relations have entered a new phase in the field of defence and emphasized on the new initiatives launched in mid-November through the integration of Armenian peacekeeping troops in the Italian battalion for NATO’S UNIFIL mission in Lebanon, thus contributing to their bilateral military cooperation. During the meeting, the parties discussed the current process of their bilateral cooperation and other issues related to development prospects.
