At the session, RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan presented the issues of the agenda related to the recruitment plan of the Armenian Armed Forces, as well as the problems associated with the recruitment process and the structure of mobilization operations. During the meeting, a report was given by the Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Levon Mnatsakanyan. The report revealed planned measures for implementing the principal tasks of the armed forces and also the results of comparative studies on other matters, such as the number of officers in the armed forces, the recruitment process and the level of knowledge of graduates from military institutions. Speeches were also delivered by various responsible officials. On the same day, at the end of the Board meeting, a consultation meeting was held in the administrative complex of the RA Ministry of Defense, during which Major-General Artak Davtyan, Chief of the Operative Department, issued an accounting report. Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan concluded the meeting by referring to the results of the works carried out during the month October and gave out the appropriate instructions and indications for handling the key issues for the month of November.
