Activities conducted during the accounting period, as well as deficiencies needing rectification, were exhibited throughout the meeting. The session was headed by Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan. The Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov, deputies of the Minister of Defence and the Chief of General Staff, heads of departments and individual sections, military commanders and others attended the hearings conducted by the Army Corps Commander. Welcoming the participants, Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan stressed the importance of such events, for only a comprehensive review of the past can be used to rule out the gaps, clarify future plans and outline upcoming work directions. Presenting the results of operations of the army corps, Army Corps Commander Major-General Poghos Poghosyan stated that, during the reporting period, a number of planned and unscheduled events were implemented, in order to increase the combat readiness of the army corps. In accordance with the training plan of the Armed Forces, all planned activities were carried out, including camp assemblies and field trips. In addition, the level of preparedness of the military personnel within military units was regularly inspected through unexpected examinations. Concluding the report, Mr. Poghos Poghosyan also referred to the executed works ordered by the Minister of Defence and the Chief of General Staff. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Seyran Ohanyan pointed out the issues needing modification and main directions of work.
