In the result of retaliatory actions of the Armenian Armed Forces the enemy was silenced and was forced to retreat suffering casualties. Armed Forces of RA and NKR Defence Army are in full control over the situation along the contact line. The Ministry of Defence of The Republic of Armenia reiterates that the situation on ground is aconsequence of adventurous, from the military perspective ill-founded and revenge-seeking policy of the political and military leadership of Azerbaijan which leads to considerable number of casualties on their own side. Unfortunatly, during the last several days the Armenian side also suffered losses. The RA Defense Ministry expresses deep condolences to relatives of the servicemen who bravely sacrificed their lives during combat actions while protecting our homeland, and at the same time calls on the society along with the Armed Forces to keep alive the loving memory of the heroes due to whose actions the rival registered by far more casualties. The RA Defense Ministry expresses regret about the losses of the two sides the full responsibility of which lies on the remorse and consciousness of the political and military leadership of Azerbaijan. As always, the life of their own soldiers means nothing to the Azerbaijani authorities. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reminds that actions of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan are completely contrary to the spirit and logics of the conflict settlement negotiations within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group and calls on the Azerbaijani side once again to refrain from steps and revenge-biased actions that might further escalate the situation. From now on any attempt to violate the ceasefire shall be punished in full severity.
