Consultation at the ARM Ministry of Defence

On May 6, consultation was held at the administrative building of the ARM Ministry of Defence, during which the operations, carried out by the Department of Intelligence and Department of Communications and ACS of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, were summarized while the activities implemented during the reporting period and the omissions to be corrected were also on the discussion agenda.

The consultation was attended by Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan, the Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov, Deputies of the Minister of Defence and the Chief of GS of the AAF, heads of departments and separate divisions of the MoD, AF and GS, as well as other senior officers and special civil servants. During the consultation, reports were given by the Chief of the Intelligence Department of the GS AF, Major General Arshak Karapetyan and the Chief of the Communications and ACS Department of the AF, Major-General Karen Muradyan. The reports presented the work carried out in the subordinate units on the replenishment, modernization and upgrading of the armament and means, as well as on the training and enhancement of professional skills of the servicemen in the units. In concluding remarks, after pointing out the omissions to be corrected, Defence Minister gave a set of instructions for more efficient implementation of the further activities.
