Visit of the delegation, headed by the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania, to Armenia

On April 23, delegation, headed by the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania Juozas Olekas, is on an official visit to Armenia, at the invitation of the ARM Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan.

After the official welcoming ceremony at the ARM MoD administrative building, the two ministers held a private talk and, subsequently, an extended meeting was held between the parties. During the meeting, Armenian-Lithuanian bilateral military cooperation was on discussion agenda as well as regional and international security issues. The sides also highly praised the level of cooperation between the defense ministries of both countries. Within the frame of the visit, delegation, headed by the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania, paid a visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial, and laid a wreath at the monument of the Genocide victims.
