During the meeting sides discussed the NATO-Armenia cooperation in the field of defence, as well as regional security issues. The parties exchanged views regarding the present fields and prospects of the cooperation in the field of defence between the North Atlantic Treaty and the Republic of Armenia. Both sides emphasized the contribution of the Armenian peacekeepers in the international missions aimed on stability and security. Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan presented the stance of the Republic of Armenia on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement outlining the need of implementing the confidence-building measures in the contact line between the both sides.
