The training center has been formed by the British Defence Ministry where more than a dozen courses are held by the British instructors from the servicemen in the region. Since 2002, Armenian servicemen have participated in the courses for junior commanders, instructors, fire and peacekeeping training in the center. 170 Armenian servicemen, including sergeants and officers, trained in this center, are currently serving in different branches of the Armenian Armed Forces, including the Peacekeeping Brigade of the ARM MoD. During the visit, the further cooperation programs with the British Military Advisory Training Team have been discussed. Among the agreements reached, were the increase of a number of the Armenian servicemen in the training center, the organization of training sessions in Armenia by the British instructors, development of educational programs and other issues related to the application of opportunities and potentials in the Armenian Armed Forces.
