Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan welcomed the guests and congratulated the Austrian side for the Austrian National Holiday, the Day of the Declaration of Neutrality, wishing success to the people of Austria. During the meeting, various issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of defence, were on discussion agenda. Ambassador Kraut ensured that Austria is willing to continue the cooperation with the ARM Ministry of Defence in a number of sectors of reforms. Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan noted that despite the passive cooperation in a field of defence between Armenia and Austria, there are real prospects to establish cooperation in a number of sectors next year with the Austrian Ministry of Defence and Sport, as well as with the Austrian Development agency. Meeting also touched upon the regional security issues.
