On 5 September a meeting between First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia David Tonoyan and Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Anatoly Antonov was held in Moscow.

During the meeting the parties discussed matters in relation to the current Armenian-Russian military and military-technical collaboration, as well as exchanged ideas on the agreements in place in arms control sector.
