14 December, 2012 00:00
On December 14, a scheduled monitoring was conducted by the OSCE Office on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in Tavush region next to Kayanavan community.

Prior to monitoring, OSCE officials had been updated on the situation on the contact line, statistics of ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and sniper activities. Irjie Aberle and Evgeny Sharov Field Assistants to Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office conducted the monitoring on the Armenian side. The monitoring was conducted without any incidents. It was conducted from a certain distance as the Azerbaijani side again refused the Armenian suggestion to cross the border and carry out a direct monitoring.
