The aim of the visit was to sum up the results of colaboration carried out between the Ministry of Defense and the United States European Command (EUCOM) in 2012 and to outline the main directions of cooperation for 2013. Rear Admiral Montgomery noted that EUCOM regards Armenia as a disligent and reliable partner both in the framework of bilateral cooperation and in the scope of KFOR cooperation and aims to enhance the cooperation for the upcoming years. EUCOM also intends to extend the period of the Armenian peacekeepers deploymentto Kosovo. Seyran Ohanyan thanked for the efficient cooperation and noted that Armenian is ready to enhance the bilateral cooperation and increase the involvement of the Armenian peacekeepers in international military trainings. Rear Admiral Montgomery also visited the Armenian Peacekeeping Brigade.
