A Scheduled Monitoring on the Borderline between Armenia and Azerbaijan

On May 31, a scheduled monitoring was conducted by the OSCE Office on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in Tavush region next to Aygepar community.

Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk, and his Field Assistants Hristo Hristov and Irjie Aberle conducted the monitoring on the Armenian side. Prior to monitoring OSCE officials had been updated on the situation on the contact line, statistics of ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and sniper activities: During the monitoring the parties contacted via radio communication and warranted security guarantees. The monitoring was conducted without any incidents.
