During the meeting, Defence Minister praised Ambassador Kovalenko`s efforts during his term on enhancing and developing strategic and allied relations between the two countries, which is evidenced by a number of high-level visits and singed documents including in the defense sphere. The two sides expressed their confidence that the existing Armenian-Russian military cooperation is an important guarantee for both countriesand for the regional security based on long-term prospects. At the end of the meeting, the Defense Minister expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for his effective service and wished him success in future activities.
