Upon the request of the guest, ARM Defense Minister presented the situation on the contact line and drew the latter’s attention to the activation of Azerbaijani snipers activities. Philippe Lefort assured that he will do his best within his mandate to support the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict. EU Special Representative particularly said: “EU doesn’t want to see a new war in the South Caucasus. Peace in the region is in the interests of EU.” Seyran Ohanyan particularly said: “Guided by the principle to resolve the Karabagh conflict by peaceful means, the Armenian side strictly maintains the ceasefire regime and responds to the ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan only to counter provocations perpetrated by their snipers".
