Commissioned officers of the Armenian Armed Forces- Captain Smbat Vardanyan, 1st Lieutenant Apet Sargsyan, and NOCs Sergeants Arthur Vardumyan, Hayk Martoyan and Nahapet Ghevondyan, and Junior Seargent Armen Shaxikyan were awarded medals of ``Combat duty``of 1st degree, ``Vazgen Sargsyan`` and ``Admiral H.S. Isakov`` for combat duty, agility in challenging situations, vigilance, determination and valor while defending the borders of the Republic of Armenia. Congratulating the servicemen the Minister of Defence noted that the security of our nation depends on the strength of the army and stressed the importance of the courage displayed by soldiers in service. Seyran Ohanyan emphasized that their bravery should be exemplary for all servicemen in the army. The Minister of Defence had a casual talk with them and inquired about their material, social and living conditions and talked with them about different issues they are interested in. Seyran Ohanyan wished much inspiration and courage, endurance, good health and peaceful service to the defenders of the homeland.
