On September 18.2007 Defense Minister of RA Michael Haroutounyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Armenia, Mrs. Panayota Mavromikhali on the occasion of completion of her diplomatic mission.

At the beginning of the meeting sides talked about rapidly developing Armenian-Greek military cooperation, the Defense Minister highly appreciated the Ambassador’s contribution, wishing success in her future activities. For her part, the Ambassador thanked Michael Haroutounyan for the kind words, saying she is leaving Armenia with great impressions. Speaking about the Armenian peacekeepers carrying out mission within the Greek division, the Minister presented the future plans in the sphere. The parties discussed a number of issues related to the reforms underway in the armed forces.
