On September 24, Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan, First Deputy Minister of Defence and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, received a delegation led by Navy Captain Roberto Recchia, Secretary General of the International Military Sports Council, at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defence

The parties discussed issues related to military sports and the preparations for the 82nd World Assembly and Congress of the International Military Sports Council, scheduled to take place in Yerevan in 2027.

It is worth noting that the World Military Wrestling Championship was held in Armenia in 2024.
