On September 15, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan met with the Minister of National Defence of the People's Republic of China, Admiral Dong Jun, in Beijing.

During the meeting, issues related to Armenia-China cooperation in the defence sector and prospects for its development were discussed.

Highly appreciating the level of bilateral cooperation in the defence sphere, the parties emphasized the importance of developing new areas of interaction and long-term planning.

The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the People's Republic of China, Vahe Gevorgyan.
