On September 14, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Armenia, Florian Escudié.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador and wished him success in carrying out his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

The parties emphasized the high level of cooperation established between Armenia and France in the defence sector, expressing confidence that it would continue to develop.

Issues related to the progress and prospects of cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
