The private meeting between the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Poland Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz was followed by a meeting with an expanded delegation.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation, emphasizing that it is being effectively implemented in accordance with the 2026 bilateral plan signed between the Ministries of Defence of the two countries.

Military education, exchange of experience and participation in joint exercises were identified as priority areas for further cooperation.

The importance of implementing military-technical cooperation within the framework of the agreement on military-technical cooperation signed in February of this year was also discussed.

The ministers agreed to continue the discussions in Yerevan and Suren Papikyan invited Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz to visit Armenia.

An agreement was also reached on opening the Office of Defence Attache at the Armenian Embassy in Warsaw in the near future.

The interlocutors exchanged views on regional and international security issues.
