Armenia-Cyprus bilateral and Armenia-Greece-Cyprus trilateral defence consultations were held
23 April, 2026 16:18On April 22, Armenia-Cyprus bilateral and Armenia-Greece-Cyprus trilateral defence consultations were held in Cyprus, in which the delegation of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia headed by Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the Defence Policy and International Cooperation Department participated.
During the consultations the process of cooperation in bilateral and trilateral formats and future tasks were discussed, opinions were exchanged on issues related to regional and international security, reforms implemented in the defence sector, and other issues of mutual interest.
The parties highly appreciated the development of cooperation in recent years.
As a result of the consultations, the heads of the departments responsible for international military cooperation of three countries signed the annual programs of Armenia-Cyprus bilateral and Armenia-Greece-Cyprus trilateral cooperation in the defence sector.
