On February 25, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan met with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Larijani.

During the meeting, issues related to regional security and stability, as well as the process and development prospects of Armenia-Iran bilateral cooperation were discussed.

Minister Papikyan emphasized the need of resolving the situation around Iran through diplomatic means.

The sides also addressed the issues related to the security environment around Armenia and Iran.
