On April 11, the Head of the Department of Defence Policy and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Levon Ayvazyan, received a delegation led by the head of the Eastern Europe Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, Emil Gebeo. Also in attendance at the meeting was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Armenia, Patrik Svensson.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the progress of reforms within the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, as well as various regional security issues.
The sides exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation in the defence field.
