Suren Papikyan visited the Tomb of Makedonitissa
13 December, 2023 14:00In the framework of his official visit to the Republic of Cyprus on December 13th, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan visited the Tomb of Makedonitissa. Therein, he laid a wreath at the memorial dedicated to Cypriot and Greek soldiers who have died for the defence of Cyprus.
The participants of the event honored the memory of those who died for the motherland with a minute of silence.
Subsequently, Minister Papikyan paid his respects at the monument commemorating individuals who laid down their lives for the independence of Cyprus at the "Imprisoned Graves" memorial site. Here, too, he placed a wreath in solemn remembrance.
