Defence Minister’s visit to the combat positions
24 March, 2023 21:27On March 24, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan visited the southwestern border zone of the RA and observed the ongoing engineering works.
The Head of the Ministry instructed to pay attention the process of modernization and re-equipment of the combat positions and to present the needs that are priority for the complete and efficient organization of the unit’s military service on combat duty.
Afterwards, Suren Papikyan visited the combat positions of the border zone, met with the contract servicemen on combat duty, brought up issues related to the military service.
Minister Papikyan urged to demonstrate greater activity in combat, physical and shooting trainings.
At the end of the day, the Minister had private talks with the officers, listened to the issues of interest and presented the upcoming activities.
