On the 17th of September the RA president Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on conferring the military rank of a Lieutenant-General to the deputy-chiefs of GS of the RA Armed Forces Major-General Haykaz Papik Baghmanyan and Major-General Arshaluys Zaven Paytyan. According to another decree of the President signed on the same day, the commander of the RA MoD 1st army corps Colonel Poghos Lyova Poghosyan and the chief of the Department of Intelligence of the GS of the RA Armed Forces, deputy-chief of the GS Colonel Arshak Henzrik Karapetyan were conferred Major-Generals.
