On the 22nd of September, 2009 in the peacekeeping brigade of the RA Ministry of Defence, in the frames of the Armenian-American defensive cooperation program, took place an eight-week final staff training organized by the instructors of the USA Armed Forces for the officer staff of the RA MoD peacekeeping brigade and the representatives of a number of the MoD and GS departments. The training was regarding the organizational structure, functions that are being carried out and the process of forming and realizing military decisions in the level of the US AF brigade. The trainings were devoted to the elevation of the level of organizational activities of the officers, to the formation of military decisions and to extending practical knowledge.

During the ceremony of giving the final certificates the deputy chief of the RA Armed Forces Lieutenant-General Enriko Apriamov congratulated the 36 participant officers and stated that such trainings are very effective. They quality-wise elevate the organizational capacities of the officers. He expressed his persuasion that the Armenian peacekeepers, from now on, will again keep the reputation of the RA Armed Forces high. E. Apriamov thanked Robert Webster - the US embassy military attaché in the RA - for effective work.
