On January 23, RA Defence Minister Suren Papikyan received Toivo Klaar, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Georgia crisis. Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Victorin also participated in the meeting.
Toivo Klaar expressed his concerns about the situation around the Lachin Corridor. The parties discussed the latest developments in the region.
The interlocutors expressed hope that at the meeting of the EU Foreign Ministers' Committee a decision will be made on implementing a new EU civilian observation mission in Armenia.
