On the 1st of October, 2009 some Azerbaijani media outlets, referring to the deputy minister of foreign affairs of Azerbaijan A. Azimov, disseminated information, as if the Armenian military sub-units are withdrawing to the west and are leaving their posts.
The head of the press service of the Defence Army of the NKR Lieutenant-Colonel Senor Hasratyan has refuted this information, saying, that it does not correspond with the reality – it is just another slander of the Azerbaijani propaganda-machine.
The military sub-units of the NKR Defence Army keep on doing their duties and in the frontline there has been no change in the border situation, nor has there been any dislodging of the troops.
