On the 1st of October, 2009 the RA Minister of Defence Seyran Ohanyan received the newly appointed American Co-Chairman of the OSCE MG Robert Bradtke. During the meeting they discussed matters related to settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and other maters of mutual interest.

Seyran Ohanyan congratulated Robert Bradtke on being appointed a co-chairman of the MG and hoped that, together with his Russian and French colleagues, he will continue to contribute to the NKR conflict resolution process. During the conversation the RA Minister of Defence welcomed the announcement of the OCSE MG co-chairmen, according to which, the peaceful resolution of the NKR conflict is an independent process and is not linked to any other process.
