According to the 2022 plan of joint training of management bodies and formations of forces and means of the CSTO collective security system, approved by the decisions of the Council of Defence Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Councils of the CSTO member states, a military-scientific conference on "Ensuring information security in the military sphere" was held in Moscow on September 2 at the CSTO Joint Headquarters.

The conference was attended by specialists of the defence departments of the CSTO member states, the basic educational-methodical organizations of the CSTO for information security, representatives of the secretariat and the Joint Staff of the CSTO.

During the conference, issues related to threats to information security were discussed, views were exchanged on ensuring information security in the Armed Forces of the CSTO member states and improving the information security system.

Taking into account the relevance of ensuring information security in the military sphere, the participants of the meeting developed proposals to strengthen cooperation in this area.
