Suren Papikyan visited a peacekeeping brigade

On February 11, Minister of Defence of Armenia Suren Papikyan visited a peacekeeping brigade of the Armed Forces. The head of the Defence Department was presented with the functions of the brigade, the process of organizing the educational process and measures for tactical and professional training of military personnel. The Minister of Defence got acquainted with the social and living conditions of the military unit and the problems of catering for the servicemen.

During the meeting with the command staff of the peacekeeping brigade, Suren Papikyan emphasized the need to improve the level of knowledge of the servicemen and their knowledge of foreign languages.

At the end of the visit, the head of the Defence Department paid tribute to the memory of the peacekeepers who died during the hostilities.

Suren Papikyan, then, visited “Zar” training center, followed the progress of the construction of the new barracks and the canteen. The Minister of Defence instructed the command staff of the military unit to eliminate the possible issues in a short time.
