On January 17, the head of the Center for Human Rights and Integrity of the RA Ministry of Defence, Colonel Gevorg Martirosyan, visited the Yerevan Territorial Subdivision No. 4 of the Conscription and Mobilization Service of the Ministry of Defence.

The purpose of the visit within the framework of the Ombudsman's National Strategy Action Plan was to raise awareness of conscripts about the right to life and the prohibition of torture, as well as to inform them about the activities of the Center for Human Rights and Integrity of the RA Ministry of Defence.

During the conversation with the conscripts, it was mentioned that the servicemen, as well as their family members, can receive clarifications on their rights, social guarantees and protection issues by calling the hotline number of the Ministry of Defence 1-28.
