On December 9, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces once again resorted to provocation opening intensive fire starting from 4.25 pm from different caliber firearms in the direction of Armenian combat positions located in the Gegharkunik region of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
The Armenian side responded and as of 5pm the shootout was going on. The Armenian Defence Ministry will deliver regular messages on the development of the events.
