The event was attended by the serviceman's relatives and friends, military, local government representatives. During the war, David was in all the hotspots, selflessly fought against the enemy, took part in the battles for the defence of Karintak and died heroically two days before the ceasefire on the outskirts of Shushi. Davit Shahnazaryan was posthumously awarded the "Military Service" medal of the Artsakh Republic.
