The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation got acquainted with the activities of the mobile laboratory

On April 11, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia David Tonoyan and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia Sergey Kopirkin got acquainted with the activities of the mobile laboratory of conducting testing for COVID-19 infection set up in Yerevan.

The Minister of Defense talked with the personnel serving the mobile laboratory, got acquainted with the results of the first sampling and inquired about its possibilities in the previously disinfected laboratory.

The mobile laboratory was brought from Russia to Armenia as a result of an agreement reached between the Ministers of Defense of the two countries.

In order to assist in preventing the spread of the new coronavirus infection and organizing anti-epidemic measures, as well as to share their experience and knowledge in this field with the Armenian partners, the specialists of the Russian Armed Forces also arrived in Armenia.

This mobile laboratory can conduct testing in any location and in difficult weather conditions, ensuring 99% accuracy.
