Final round of first pan-Armenian sniper tournament held

The final round of the first pan-Armenian sniper tournament was held at the Defence Ministry’s Marshal Baghramyan Training Centre on 28 December.

Watching the competition were Armenia’s acting Defence Minister  Davit Tonoyan, Maj. Gen. Andranik Makaryan, the head of the Armed Forces Combat Training Department, other high-ranking officers and guests.

The tournament is a joint effort of the Defence Ministry and Armenia's Practical Shooting Federation. The best shooters of Armenia and Artsakh competed in an intense and uncompromising struggle. The winners of the tournament were awarded diplomas, medals and symbolic gifts.

Thanking them for active participation and good results, Minister Tonoyan pointed to the importance of events held jointly by government and private organisations.
