Armed Forces leadership visits Yerablur Cemetery

In marking the 61st birthday of National Hero of Armenia and Hero of Artsakh Monte Melkonian, acting Defence Minister Davit Tonoyan, accompanied by top officials of the Defence Ministry of Defense, Armed Forces, the General Staff, as well as by representatives of non-governmental organizations and freedom fighters, paid a visit to the Yerablur Military Cemetery on 25 November to pay tribute to the memory of the hero.

They laid flowers to the graves of Sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan and General Andranik Ozanyan, as well as to the Berdapar monument, commemorating those who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of Armenia and Artsakh.
